On the Polish medical market several preparations containing antiseptic substances have appeared at the same time. Numerous questions arise about the scope of indications for their use and the safety of therapy. Doubts are also raised by the risk of resistance to the above preparations in situations of prolonged use. In this article, we try to answer the above questions, trying to help in making daily therapeutic decisions.
