Aim
Evaluation of the results of treatment of chronic non-infectious uveitis with biologic agents in children and adolescents.

Materials and Methods
8 children (5 girls, 3 boys) treated with biologics (Humira, Remicade) after previous treatment with first and second therapy lines drugs. Binocular changes were observed in 6 children, monocular changes in 2 children (14 eyes). For the diagnosis of non-infectious uveitis and to evaluate the effects of treatment, the ophthalmic examination and research of the laboratory diagnosis and imaging were used. The average time of biological treatment was 12.8 months.

Results
In the examined group of children the number of relapses of the disease (an average of 0.57) has decreased. Visual acuity has improved in every child (mean V = 0.79). Ocular complications occurred in 4 eyes, general complications in 3 children.

Conclusions
Biological therapy of non-infectious uveitis in children is not causal treatment indeed, focused on the ethological factors. However, it influences the patomechanism of disease, strongly modificating its course thus reducing this symptoms and easing this effects.
