Complications of gynecologic laparoscopy - kinds and pathomechanism

Basing on both: the review of literature and our own experience, we present the most frequent and the most dangerous complications of gynecologic laparoscopy. We discuss the mechanism of iatrogenic harm of separate organs and anatomic structures. We present clinical demonstration of complications and stages of the diagnostic procedure. We pay attention to the interdisciplinary character of the majority of complications, and the need of intensive prophylactic activities.
