Objectives: Now, when there are more and more women suffering from sterility it’s very important to have some parameters which can predict a result of ovarian hiperstymulation. It is suggested that concentration of oestradiol and FSH may describe oocytes; morfology and embryos quality.
Designes: It’s very important to indicate a factor which would exactly characterized a state of ovarian hiperstymulation.
Material and methods: We took to this study 68 women suffering from sterility in Division of Infertility and Reproductive Endocrinology Department of Gyneacology and Obstretics Karol Marcinkowski University of Medical Sciences in Poznań in 2001–2002. We estimated concentrations of oestradiol in the day of oocytes retrival and FSH in the 2–3 day of the cycle before ovaries hiperstymulation. We, also characterized oocytes morfology and embryos quality.
Results: There were correlation between:
– concentration of oestradiol and number of vollicles, all received oocytes in MII, embryos;
– concentration of FSH and number of all received oocytes and oocytes in MII.
We didn’t prove a correlation between concentration of oestradiol, FSH and number of oocytes in MI and number of embryos.
Conclusions: Concentration of oestradiol in the day of oocytes retrival correlate with the number of vollicles and the state of oocytes morfology and number of embryos. It’s seems that concentration of FSH on the 2–3 day of cycle before the ovarian hiperstymulation may be a reliable factor for estimation the result of ovarian hiperstimulation.
