High-efficiency hemodialysis treatment

Significant technological changes in hemodialysis, introduction of bicarbonate dialysate and high flux membrane, permitted implementation high efficiency hemodialysis treatment. High-flux hemodialysis and hemodiafiltration on-line are most often using in our country. Characteristic and clinical use of these modalities in the treatment of chronic renal failure patients are presented.
