Transport from the airport:
From the airport, take a taxi (right in front of T3 terminal (arrival hall) you may find a 24/7 taxi stand - a taxi cost should not exceed 30 PLN (about 8 euros) during the day) or the bus No 59 to the Kaponiera roundabout in the city center, where you can change for a bus/tram to your hotel (at night take the bus No 242). BY TRAIN
Poznań's Main Station (Poznań Główny) is located in the city center. There are regular connections to main Polish and several European cities. The timetable is given www.pkp.pl. (Type Poznań Główny for the Poznan's Main Station)

BY CAR
Poznań is located in the west part of Poland, at the middle between Berlin and Warsaw and is easily accessible by car. The city is connected to the European motorways network via the A2 motorway. Notice that most motorway in Poland are paid (approximately 0.05 Euro per kilometer, cash or paycards).

GROUND TRANSPORTATION
Transport in Poznań is organized by Zarząd Transportu Miejskiego (ZTM). It offers tram and bus connections within the city of Poznań and a few agglomeration lines. The tram lines are numbered from 1 to 39 and the night tram is 201. The bus lines are numbered from 45 to 98 for the normal lines and from 231 to 252 for the night buses. Tickets
Public transport in Poznań offers several types of tickets: single (10 minutes ticket, 40 minutes ticket), Short-term tickets (24-hours, 48-hours, 72-hours). Tickets are available at ZTM Customer Service Points, Sales points (kiosks, shops, supermarkets) and ticket machines. Furthermore some buses and trams are also equipped with ticket machines (accepts only coins). Drivers sell tickets only on the night service. CURRENCY
The currency of Poland is złoty (code: PLN, sign: zł) which literally means “gold”. Currency can be exchanged at the airport, at the main train station and in many currency exchange offices in the city.
