Lipomatosis benigna - Launois-Bensaude syndrome. Surgical treatment

Authors present the patient with Launois-Bensaude syndrome because of its rare occurence and good effects of multi-stage surgical therapy.
Etiology of this pathological state is unknown. Many cases are connected with alcoholism (60-90%), dyslipidemia, gout, diabetes or liver diseases. Our 47-years old, male patient was alcohol abuser and slight higher cholesterol HDL level was found in his serum.
