The Warsaw’s obstetricians and gynaecologists in the XIX century and otorhinolaryngology

The separation of medical specializations also in otorhinolaryngology in the half of XIX century is discussed. The paper includes the description of contribution Warsaw’s obstetricians and gynaecologists at that time in the development of new specialization – otorhinolaryngology. The achievements in this process of such Warsaw’s obstetricians and gynaecologists as Alfons Jan Fryderyk Brandt, Ignacy Jakub Rogowicz and Władysław Tyrchowski are presented.
