ABSTRACT
Herein, we present the case of 69-year-old male patient who underwent central pancreatic resection for pancreatic mass, suspected for malignancy. A final histopatologic examination revealed well-differentiated endocrine and exocrine pancreatic tissue and the spindle morphology of small quantity of stroma cells. Immunohistochemical analysis of CD34 and CD117 showed negative and diagnosis of a solid hamartoma was established. So far, the patient has been followed-up for 55 months and has remained disease-free.
