ABSTRACT
The symptoms of abdominal aorta coarctation vary differently and it’s difficult to diagnose when the patient manifests solely one or two symptoms. We here report a young boy diagnosed as abdominal aorta coarctation with severe hypertension as the sole manifestation without renovascular stenosis and successfully treated with percutaneous transluminal angioplasty (PTA) without stents. PTA would be a good option to correct aortic stenosis with good long-term outcomes and no severe complications.
