Confronting perimenopausal women’s knowledge of coronary heart disease with their health behaviours. Controversial role of hormone replacement therapy in the protection of coronary heart disease
The paper presents a case of a 48-year-old patient after thermal burn of his hand with hot automotive oil. The patient underwent physical therapy treatments: magnetostimulation and magnetoledotherapy. The use of a variable magnetic field with low induction values and concurrent low-energy optical radiation resulted in a significant acceleration of the tissue regeneration process, the local condition, and functional efficiency of the burned limb improved, and a beneficial cosmetic effect was obtained. The obtained therapeutic effects constitute a valuable method supporting the treatment of patients after thermal burns.
