We present a case of an 18-year-old male patient, in whom the diagnosis of Camurati-Engelmann disease was preceded by 5-years history of sceletomuscular pain and fatigue of the lower limbs. Current knowledge on pathogenesis, differential diagnosis, and treatement of this rare disease have been discussed.
