A proper running communication process between a physician and his patient enhances efficiency of actions taken by the physicians in the process of medical treatment.
The article presents the results of studies concerning perception of some communication skills of the gynecologists. The study comprised young women with higher education, aged 25–35, in the area of Lower Silesia. They estimated, among other things, such interpersonal skills of the gynecologists as their ability to listen to the patients, giving information about their health and the methods of treatment as well as the overall quality of the gynecological examination.
