Phase contrast microscopy for cytological examination in gynecology

An appliance of phase contrast microscopy for cytological examination in gynecology was presented. The method of preparation of unfixed and unstained cervical vaginal smears was reported. The phase contrast microphotograms corresponding to physiology and pathology of uterine cervix were shown.
