Place of subtotal hysterectomy in contemporary gynecology

Hysterectomy is the most common gynecological operation. This article presents contemporary opinions about supracervical hysterectomy. In some special cases, supracervical hysterectomy may be performed more often in the treatment of benign lesion of the uterus.
