Antrochoanal polyp or angiofibroma? A case report of endoscopic endonasal resection

A case of right nasopharyngeal angiofibroma mimic the clinical course of choanal polyp. Endoscopic resected tumor, clinical and radiological evaluated in routine computer tomography as a choanal polyp, was angiofibroma. Tumor recurrence detected due to magnetic resonance imaging was treated by preoperative embolisation and endoscopic resection. Extremely important is precise preoperative radiological evaluation and postoperative histological rating.
