CONFERENCE OUTLINE

The Calisia World Conference on Family Health was organised by the European Observatory of Health Inequalities at President Stanisław Wojciechowski State University of Applied Sciences in Kalisz, and by the Health Promotion Foundation (Fundacja “Promocja Zdrowia”), in collaboration with the World Prevention Alliance in Lyon, France, and with the City of Kalisz. The conference took place in Kalisz, the oldest city in Poland, located near the centre of the country. It began on 9 June 2019 with a ceremony at the Wojciech Bogusławski Theatre in Kalisz. The second day involved scientific workshops divided into four sessions (see Box 1 below).
