The surgical methods of treatment of the rheumatoid wrist are presented in this paper. Wrist synovectomy, wrist denervation, partial or total arthrodesis, interposition arthroplasty, prosthetic replacement and wrist stabilization techniques are described. There is also own original method presented among stabilizing procedures – capsule-retinacular stabilization.
