The healing process of venous ulcers requires multidirectional measures. In addition to compression therapy, which is the gold standard for the treatment of venous ulcers, it is also important to support the healing process by providing an adequate supply of proteins, vitamins, and other components, such as arginine, which helps in tissue regeneration. Arginine is an essential part of the wound healing process. It participates in the synthesis of proteins and is the main component of collagen. It supports the wound healing process through changes in microcirculation and haemodynamic changes.
