Vaginitis and cervicitis – still the current issues

Vaginitis and cervicitis are ones of the commonest issues found in out-patients gynaecological practice. Current knowledge standard and easy lab-tests let us identify the etiologic factor in 95% of cases. The most often there are: Gardnerella vaginalis, Candida, Trichomonas vaginalis and causes cervicitis – Chlamydia trachomatis , Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Herpes simplex . We present the topical information of the symptoms, signs, diagnosis and treatment of the lower part of women’s reproductive system.
