Contemporary opinions on progestogen's therapy in pregnancy complicated by threatened abortion

In the view of all factors influencing the uneventful course of pregnancy the physiological action of progesterone was discussed. The data concerning efficacy of treatment with different progestogens in the case of threatened abortion was presented. The review of literature discussing the side effects of therapy and modern knowledge on this subject was accomplished.
