Fungal infection in laryngology – problem of diagnosis and treatment

In recent years the number of fungal infections has still been growing in laryngological patients. It depends on the excessive application of antibiotics and increasing number of people with disturbed immunity. Rich colonisation of Candida spp. of the oral cavity has a huge influence in laryngology. The present work discusses problems related to diagnostics and difficulties in treatment of fungal infections.
