Physiotherapeutic management of the patient during pregnancy and the postpartum period has a significant impact on her mental and physical state and may be a form of treatment or prevention of urinary incontinence. The aim of this work is to highlight the need for providing a programme of postpartum pelvic floor reeducation to women. As this form of reeducation is not well-known in Poland, the authors present the model of reeducation used in France with which they became acquainted at a course for physiotherapists organized by Office Régional de Recherchre et d’Enseignement en Kinésithérapie d’Ile de France.
