abstract="In the 21st century the medical assistance sector is undergoing radical changes. The transfor-mation of the National Health Service caused that the quality of medical services is more and more important for patients. Nowardays all medical services must be of appropriate quality. It means that the medical procedure must be done at a definite time in accordance with the accapted standards and with the use of appropriate means. The following article preasents legal aspects related to the quality to medical services in Poland as well as liability for not applying the accepted standards of medical procedures.",
