abstract="Recurrence of enormous liposarcoma of the retroperitoneum, and abdominal integument. Liposarcoma is a malignancy of fat cells, which was first described by Virchow in the 1860s with an annual incidence of 2.5 cases per million population in adults. Liposarcoma normally appears as a slowly enlarging, painless, non-ulcerated submucosal mass which mostly arises de novo. In our report we examine the case of a patient who has been operated upon 5 times because of the local recurrence of liposarcoma between 1998 and 2008.",
