abstract="Spontaneous subcapsular kidney haemorrhage is a rare clinical problem of both malignant and non-malignant kidney disease, also known as Wunderlich syndrome. Spontaneous subcapsular haemorrhage in the kidney happens mostly in patients with angiomyolipoma and is less common in renal carcinoma. We present a patient in whom the first symptom of renal carcinoma involved haematoma caused by spontaneous rupture of a neoplastic tumour.",
