abstract="Woman\&#8217;s femininity-sexuality is a subject of interest for both the study of sex (sexology) and gynaecology. It is necessary to consider it also in the historical perspective. The impact of woman\&#8217;s sexuality on the course of history, in the example of Maria Kazimiera, is presented here. The influence of her femininity on the fate of the Republic of Poland is also depicted. The expressions of the rules normalizing human sexuality differ depending on the age, cultural level, geographical and climatic conditions and also depending on the life conditions of a given society. Sexuality results from the interactions occurring between individuals and the social structure surrounding them. The presented account shows that sexuality exerts an influence on the course of history.",
