title="Pain in a patient with cancer can be relieved effectively in the majority of cases, but not always. Why do we encounter difficulties?",
abstract="Despite advances in cancer pain treatment, better understanding of pain mechanisms, and the availability of a range of novel formulations of analgesics and improved invasive techniques, in a group of our patients the result of management remains unsatisfactory.
