title="The interdependence between the clinical periodontal condition and the level of the feeling of safety in women with pathological and physiological pregnancy",
abstract=" Objectives:  Maternal periodontitis is one of the suspected reasons of the preterm birth recently. Additional factor that can affect periodontal condition and gestation is the feeling of safety of pregnant women.    Aim:  To evaluate and compare the feeling of safety of the women with pathological and physiological pregnancy and to explore the interdependence between the level of feeling of safety and periodontal condition in both groups of women.   Material and methods:  The study was performed in 310 women.  I group was composed with  190 women with pathological pregnancy, II group \&#8211; 120 women with physiological pregnancy. Every women felt the questioner \&#8211; the feeling of safety. To assess the condition of periodontium the periodontal indices: OHI-s, SBI and PDI were used.    Results:  The results of questioner \&#8211; the feeling of safety were: 16.2 in women with pathological pregnancy  and 24.2 in  women with physiological pregnancy.  In  I group there were recorded clinical parameters: OHI-s  2.33; SBI 2.76 and PDI 2.14. In II group: 2.44; 2.35; 1.74.    Conclusions:  1. The lower level of the feeling of safety and the worse periodontal condition are recorded in women with pathological pregnancy than in women with physiological pregnancy. 2. Both in women with pathological and physiological pregnancy with increased level of the feeling of safety the less intensity of  periodontal inflammation is recorded.",
