title="Nutritional problems in inflammatory bowel disease patients",
abstract="Nutritional problems are still very important in spite of the great progress in inflammatory bowel disease treatment in the last years. From 20% to 70% of patients have malnutrition and they require nutritional treatment. There is no single universal protocol for nutrition in this group. Our intervention depends on a lot of factors. Proper nutritional treatment leads to a better response to treatment, maintenance of remission, improved quality of life, decreased number of adverse events and lower total costs. Nowadays nutritional treatment is a very important part of the complex procedure in inflammatory bowel disease patients.",
