title="Coexistence of linear IgA bullous dermatosis with atopic dermatitis. Therapeutic difficulties. Case report",
abstract="  Introduction  . Linear IgA bullous dermatosis (LABD) is a chronic autoimmune vesiculobullous disease which rarely coexists with other disorders.      Objective.   The aim of the study was to present rare coexistence of LABD and atopic dermatitis.     Case report  . We present a case of a 28-year-old Caucasian woman with 2-month history of bullous lesions with ring-like configuration localized mainly on the trunk and extremities. The patient has also suffered from atopic dermatitis from early childhood as well as from thrombocytogenic hypercoagulability and ulcerative colitis. The patient’s mother suffers from multiple sclerosis. The diagnosis of LABD with coexistent atopic dermatitis was established. The patient has been treated with prednisone for 6 months in tapering doses, clexane and cyclosporine A (5 mg/kg/day). Blisters have been absorbed, leaving only areas of hyperpigmentation.      Conclusions  . Coexistence of LABD and so many other disorders including atopic dermatitis is very rare. We present this case because of treatment difficulties which resulted from co-morbidities. Fortunately immunosuppressive therapy improved skin manifestations of LABD without worsening the course of coexisting diseases.",
