abstract="The attitude’s changes toward the ideas of hospice/palliative care were presented. The dimensions of quality of life, the basic principles of positive psychology and various strategies  of coping with stress caused by serious disease were discussed. The specific strategies of search for meaning of the difficult situations seem to be of practical value. The new tasks (and idea)  of palliative/hospice care were defined as very important: to help the persons use their final stage of life for growing and transformation.",
