abstract="Diagnosis of hypertension is frequently difficult due to inaccurate technique of measurement, inherent variability of blood pressure and “white coat” reaction. Introduction of home blood pressure measurements and ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM) reduces the errors in classification of hypertension, better estimates cardiovascular risk and increases efficacy of anti-hypertensive therapy.",
