abstract="The paper presents principles of brachytherapy, indications for this treatment and treatment results in head and neck cancer patients. The indications for applying brachytherapy in particular primaries including tongue, floor of the mouth, hard palate, buccal mucosa, nasopharynx, lip and nasal vestibule are discussed. Selected results of brachytherapy as an independent treatment and that combined with teletherapy in floor of the mouth cancer, nasopharynx tumors and head and neck cancer relapses are shown.",
