title="Laparoscopic learning curve",
abstract="The aim of the study was to present laparoscopic learning curve, basing on our experiences in laparoscopic gynecological surgery. 1 651 patients underwent diagnostic and operative (moderate and advanced) laparoscopy in Gynecological Department of State Hospital in Rzeszów in the years 1992-2003. The evolution of the range of procedures and their complications were shown. It was shown that laparoscopy is a safe method of treatment, and the rate of its complications is low. The training of surgeons reduces the need of laparotomy for laparoscopic complications.",
