title="A giant abdominal tumor consisting 40% body mass diagnosed as mucinous cystadenoma",
abstract="The patient was 63-year-old woman hospitalized for mega-  -abdomen with ascites, severe insipiratory-expiratory dispnoea and cachexia. Enlargement of abdominal circumference has been observed for 5 years and the patient has not agreed to undergo surgical treatment so far. After 7 days of pharmacological treatment the patient was qualified for operation. During surgery a 25 kg tumor was excised which consisted 40% of the patient\&#8217;s body mass, diagnosed by histopathologist as mucinous adenocarcinoma coming from left adexa. After 25 days of hospitalization the patient was dismissed in good general state but with cachexia and anemia. Almost 15% of ovary tumors are cystadenomas mucinosum with ability to reach very large size only occasionally presenting pain symptoms. A revival of professional literature shows that most surgical interventions taken to treat giant pathological changes in abdomen finish successfully and should not be deleted.",
