abstract=" In the article we present the case of 42 years old woman with diagnosed squamous cell carcinoma of larynx and inferior pharynx. In 2013 the patient underwent primary concurrent chemoradiotheraphy (CCRT). Due to the recurrence (2015) total laryngectomy (TL) was performed – the operation proved non-radical. The report contains a summary of the relevant literature concerning the available diagnostic methods and surgical and non-surgical managment of advanced laryngeal cancer. ",
