Results : The study was dominated by people in the age group of 50-70 years old. All respondents felt the pain. Most patients regardless of sex, determined the pain at a moderate level. Patients operated with higher age less likely felt strong pain. Conclusions : The location of pain control is dependent on the patient’s age and nature of the pain. Operated with higher age and more severe pain often pointed to the doctor, as a person from whom they expect help with pain control. Gender of the patient, diagnosis, and medical day after cardiac surgery does not differentiate the location of pain as a result of internal control, the influence of medical and accidental events.",
