abstract="Authors present modern opinions on urinary incontinence farmacological treatment. It is important to use well-tolerated medicaments, because side effects can be a cause of high percentage of resignation of treatment, often before assessing results of treatment. In the authors opinion non-operative treatment should be more often, than nowadays, used by first contact physicians: gynecologists, general practitioners. Only in cases of no effect, patients should be send to specialistic out-patient urogynecologic and urologic clinics.",
