title="Educational standard in the prophylaxis of nosocomial infections",
abstract="  Introduction.  Nosocomial infections involve all the hospitals (general and special hospitals, institutes). Reduction of nosocomial infections is a primary responsibility of the managers and medical staff in each hospital.   Aim of the study.  Constructing the standard of education on the prophylaxis of nosocomial infections.   Material and methods.  The standard of patients education was constructed in according to the recommendations of The European Quality Assurance Network.   Results.  Constructed standard of patient education on the prevention of nosocomial infections was a result of studies on the analysis of the of nosocomial infections in the Końske in 1993\–2003 and the level of knowledge of 1017 of nurses and 513 patients on nosocomial infections, and the results were the original content of individual works. The following criteria: structure, process and result were considered in the building of standard to valid principles. We constructed the standard of education on the prophylaxis of nosocomial infections. In the construction of standard we included the following criteria: structure, process and results. In according to Apellman, we used the following criteria: accuracy, understanding, measurements and achievement. We enclosed the attachments; references and individual card of education   Conclusions.  The educational tasks should involve all patients. Educational and informative activity should comprise persons with the primary and vocational education. Education should be conducted in according to the standard, which example it is the present paper.",
