title="The attitudes of parents of children after a bone marrow transplant",
abstract=" Introduction . A bone marrow transplant is a procedure which gives hope of health life people with disorders such as: leukemia, lymphoma and many other. Despite fast development of medicine this procedure is still responsible for high morality rate. Child\&#8217;s disease is a problem for his/her family and it leades to many changes and difficulties.   Aim of the study . The objective of this work was to analyze the attitudes of parents having children after the bone marrow trans plant.   Material and methods . The study was conducted in April of 2009 in University Children\&#8217;s Hospital In Cracow among parents of children after the bone marrow transplant and parents of children which were treated otherwise. The present study employs the questionnaire designed by the author of this work and the questionnaire designer by Maria Ziemska for analyzing the attitudes of parents. The analysis was carried out using the statistical method as test x 2 .   Results and conclusions . The analysis point to the fact that parents having children after the bone marrow transplant represent negative attitudes in domination scale and exaggerated concentration on the child.
