title="A literature review in nursing at the example of the journal “Nursing Topics”",
abstract="  Introduction.  “Nursing Topics” is the official journal of the Polish Nurses Association where reviewed articles, original research in the field of nursing and related fields, reports, commentaries, reviews and official statements of international professional associations are published.  Aim.  The aim of the study was a quantitative and qualitative analysis of the publications listed in the journal “Nursing Topics”.  Material and methods.  613 electronic articles published between 2007–2015 were analyzed published in 34 issues. On average, 18 articles were published in a single issue of the journal. Original papers and review articles constituted the largest proportion of all publications.  Results/Conclusions.  The analysis of available materials noted significant development of trend issuing specialized and clinical articles in nursing nevertheless a growing number of them is not ambiguous with the increase of their quality. In recent years in “Nursing Topics” appears more and more original works which is a good sign for the future and testimony of the increasing interest of scientific research by nurses. ",
