title="Conflict in the nursing team",
abstract="  Introduction.  Communication is necessary for proper relation in the work place with other coworkers. Conflict is often an inevitable occurrence as people have different personalities and cultural background. That also concerns work environment and nurse teams. Depending on how a conflict is managed it could have positive and negative consequences.  Objective.  The purpose of this study is to look into nurses’ opinion about conflict in work environment and determine the factors of conflict.  Material and methods.  To reach the purpose, 112 random people working in hospital in Grudziądz as nurses were selected. Method of analysis and method of diagnostic survey was used. Poll questionnaire was used as a research tool. The poll was conducted between April and August 2014.  Results and conclusions.  Analysis of collected materials allowed to show the problem of a conflict in a nursing team. It was shown that specification of the ward has no significant influence on appearance of conflict in nurse personnel. The results show that a major problem is conflict between a nurse and the team and its main reason is lack of communication. It was proved that conflicts in nursing personnel are rarely analyzed and most commonly used method to solve the problem is cooperation. Respondents said that conflict doesn’t affect or has rather positive influence on quality of provided medical services. ",
