abstract="In the early 1990s Lithuania had a high smoking prevalence among men and relatively low rates among women. The prevalence reached its peak in 2000. Thereafter, smoking rates declined, until recent years, when the smoking rates stagnated. In order to manage the harmful impact on society, tobacco policy changes were introduced in 1995 in the form the “Law on Control of Tobacco, Tobacco Products, and Related Products”.",
