abstract=" Streptococcus pneumoniae  is the most common etiologic bacterial agent caused infections in children and adults.  Streptococcus pneumoniae  caused 92% of nonmeningitis invasive disease in children and it is responsible for 23% meningitis, associated with the highest mortality (15.3-30%) and long-term sequelae (15.3-57%). The pneumococcal conjugate vaccine containing the most common types could prevent up to 70% of invasive pneumococcal infections in children.",
