abstract="The difficult and complicated mechanism of cancer development on the one hand, and little knowledge about the biology of the existing cancers on the other, lead to a permanent search for new techniques of examination which would improve the precision of life expectancy in patients and selection of the most efficient methods of treatment. A full range of research techniques evaluating proliferating ability of neoplastic cell was presented. They comprised both basic and special methods. Verification of the carried out as well monitored results of research allows for differentation of usefulness of particular techniques in the evaluation of the biology of neoplastic process.",
