title="Treatment of pressure ulcers – recommendations of the Polish Wound Management Association. Part II",
abstract="The incidence of pressure ulcers increases mainly due to the increase in the number of operated patients, cancer patients, patients after injuries and the increase in the number of elderly people living with various disabilities. The most important task is to prevent their occurrence, but despite all efforts, when there are a large number of risk factors, pressure ulcers are formed and develop. The treatment of pressure ulcers has an interdisciplinary and multi-specialist character and includes nurses and doctors of various specialties, dieticians, physiotherapy specialists, social workers, psychologists and others. Many new methods of treatment have been developed in recent years, therefore the aim of these recommendations is to present the latest scientific research results and medical developments in recent years.",
