title="Exudate in the wound healing process",
abstract="Exudate accompanies each wound and is an integral part of the physiological healing process. Qualitative and quantitative disturbances in the exudate may slow down the process of the defect regeneration. On the other hand, they are a valuable source of information about the pathology underlying the development of a chronic wound. This review briefly systematizes the current knowledge on the issue of exudate disorders and their impact on the wound healing process. It also presents methods of effective use of commonly known and modern medical technologies that allow for correction of the wound biology and systemic treatment in order to obtain effective healing.",
