abstract="Renal cell carcinoma has a strong tendency to create distant metastases, that occur in 30% of the patients with that disease. It is also the third most common malignancy originating from the outside of the head and neck region to metastasize there. Metastatic lesions of renal cell carcinoma in salivary glands are extremely rare. We present a case report of 54-year old patient that developed a parotid tumour as the first sign of metastatic renal clear cell carcinoma.",
