title="Can a cupcake heal the soul? Art therapy with baking as an alternative form of therapeutic
interventions in an adolescent population – experience from the Department of Child and
Adolescent Psychiatry in Lodz",
abstract="Art therapy has been used for years as one of the widely available therapeutic forms. A distinction can be made between word, movement and image therapy. It is used in the population of child and adolescent psychiatric patients with depressive and anxiety disorders, in patients with trauma features or in the course of holistic developmental disorders. At the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the Medical University of Lodz, we have introduced an experimental method of baketherapy, which involves introducing activities into the therapeutic process, during which patients with mental health problems have the opportunity to cooperate and express themselves in the baking process.",
